Campers line up outside the building at the cones or inside the waiting room on the x’s if raining while parents/guardians complete daily screening forms. We will provide an online screening form or at least provide a digital copy to be filled out prior to the start of camp to help streamline drop off. Campers can put their belongings (snack, filled water bottle, socks, hat, towel, etc) in their personal bubble bin. These bins can be easily transported into the gym, outside, or into the circus studio.
Section 1 of camp will begin in the gym with a fun, energetic warm up and stretch designed for social distancing. Campers will move through structured rotations on the bars, beam, floor, and tumble track. All stations will be designed to allow campers to practice social distancing and sanitization stations will be available at every station.
Weather permitting, campers will then head outside to the back field for section 2 of camp. Outside activities include inflatable tumble tracks, slackline, relays, games and much more. All props will be thoroughly sanitized before and after each use with Vital Oxide and not shared among campers. Small camp numbers allow for each camper to keep the same props throughout the day without sharing. If the weather is not cooperating campers with head upstairs to the circus studio instead of outside for section 2 of camp. Campers can expect more detailed instruction and practice with circus props. The circus studio is taped off in sections to allow for social distancing and sanitized with vital oxide after every use. Again, campers will not have to share circus equipment. In section 2 (outside or in the circus studio) campers will have snack either before or after the activities depending on the needs of the group. We encourage a wasteless snack to limit trips to the garbage etc. and campers will take home whatever garbage they have.
For section 3 of camp, campers will either return to a sanitized gym, upstairs to the circus studio, or a combination of the two spaces for more safe social distancing fun and the remainder of camp. Campers will return to the waiting room with their bubble bins for pick up. Because of our small waiting room coaches will assist with stand by pick up by individually releasing campers to their parent or guardian to limit gatherings in the waiting room.
